I've known Brenda for nearly 45 years.  We met through our husbands who were great mates. We just hit it off straight away and quickly became firm friends.  We've shared many holidays and nights out together and had some really fun times.

I found Brenda to be an inspiring person, always responding to any challenges in life with determination and a positive attitude.

She was very fit, doing all sorts of activities; cycling, walking, swimming and a regular user of the gym. 

Brenda was a very caring and thoughtful person, always giving support to family and friends and putting others before herself.  When Dave, my husband, was very ill in hospital for 4 months, she phoned every evening to see how he was, also how I was coping, which I really appreciated.

We have shared many a bottle of wine together and put the world to rights, with lots of laughs on the way.  She has also been there for me in  hard times.

I will miss her but my life has been enriched by knowing her - she was indeed a true friend, remembered with much love by me.
